Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme (optional)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
- While the air fryer is preheating, pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove any moisture.
- Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil on both sides, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme, and oregano (if using).
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overlapping.
- Cook the chicken at 375°F (190°C) for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) when done.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain its juices.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy your tender and juicy air fryer chicken breast!
Notes
- For even more flavor, marinate the chicken breasts for 30 minutes to an hour before cooking.
- If your chicken breasts are larger, you may need to increase the cooking time by a few minutes. Always check for doneness with a meat thermometer.
- You can adjust the seasonings to your taste preferences, adding spices like cumin, chili powder, or Italian seasoning for different variations.
- For crispy skin, you can lightly spray the chicken with cooking spray before placing it in the air fryer.
