- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (seeds removed)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for crostini)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread mixture evenly into a serving dish.
- Top with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, remaining bacon, and green onions if using.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
- Serve dip chilled with crostini on the side.
Notes
- For added flavor, rub a cut garlic clove on the baguette slices before toasting.
- Use cherry tomatoes for less watery topping.
- Dip can be made a day ahead and topped just before serving.
