Description

BLT Dip with Crostini is a creamy, savory dip that captures the flavors of the classic bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich, served with crispy toasted crostini for dipping.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (seeds removed)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for crostini)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spread mixture evenly into a serving dish.
  6. Top with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, remaining bacon, and green onions if using.
  7. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
  8. Serve dip chilled with crostini on the side.

Notes

  • For added flavor, rub a cut garlic clove on the baguette slices before toasting.
  • Use cherry tomatoes for less watery topping.
  • Dip can be made a day ahead and topped just before serving.
