- 4 tostada shells
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder

- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa or hot sauce (optional)
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shredded chicken, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat and heat through for about 5 minutes.
- Warm the refried beans in a small saucepan or microwave until heated through.
- Lay out the tostada shells on a flat surface.
- Spread a layer of refried beans on each shell.
- Top with seasoned chicken, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and shredded cheese.
- Drizzle with sour cream and salsa if using. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
- Serve immediately while the tostadas are still crisp.

- You can use store-bought rotisserie chicken for convenience.
