Deliciously spiced Cinnamon French Toast Sticks that are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect for breakfast or a quick snack.

- 4 slices thick bread (like brioche or Texas toast)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- Butter or oil for frying
- Maple syrup for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Cut each slice of bread into 3 or 4 sticks.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar; set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil.
- Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off.
- Place coated sticks on the skillet and cook until all sides are golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Immediately roll cooked sticks in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
Notes
- Use day-old bread for best results to prevent sogginess.
- You can freeze leftover sticks and reheat in the oven or toaster.
- Adjust cinnamon sugar to taste.
