Ingredients
Dough:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough sheet
Filling:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Extra butter for greasing pan
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard muffin tin. Unroll the crescent dough onto a floured surface.
- Fill and Roll: Spread softened butter on the dough. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; sprinkle over the dough. Roll tightly into a log.
- Cut and Shape: Cut the log lengthwise, roll each strip into a spiral, and place in muffin cups. Bake for 18–22 minutes.
- Glaze and Serve: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over cooled cruffins before serving.
