Description

Crockpot Kielbasa and Green Beans is a hearty, flavorful dish made with smoked sausage, fresh green beans, and potatoes, all slow-cooked in a savory broth. It’s a comforting, hands-off meal perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked kielbasa, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place sliced kielbasa, green beans, potatoes, onion, and garlic in the crockpot.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until potatoes and green beans are tender.
  5. Stir gently before serving. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Notes

  • Use turkey kielbasa for a lighter version.
  • Red potatoes or Yukon golds work well and hold their shape.
  • Serve with crusty bread or over rice for a more filling meal.
