- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 Oreo cookies, crushed
- Optional: extra Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Mix until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Add extra Oreo pieces on top if desired.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake them and let them cool fully before cutting.
- Feel free to mix in chocolate chips or white chocolate chunks for extra richness.
