This Easy Instant Pot Mac and Cheese is a creamy, cheesy, and quick comfort food made entirely in the pressure cooker—perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  2. Seal the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
  3. Quick release the pressure carefully once cooking is done.
  4. Stir in evaporated milk, cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, and garlic powder (if using) until cheese is melted and creamy.
  5. Season with black pepper to taste and serve immediately.

  • You can substitute cheeses to your preference—try gouda or Monterey Jack.
  • Stir in cooked bacon or steamed broccoli for added texture and flavor.
