Description

Flag Fruit Pizza is a festive and refreshing dessert made with a sugar cookie crust, creamy frosting, and a patriotic arrangement of berries to resemble the American flag—perfect for 4th of July celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 banana, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Press sugar cookie dough evenly into a greased or parchment-lined 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely in the pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
  5. Arrange blueberries in the top-left corner to represent the stars section of the flag.
  6. Alternate rows of sliced strawberries and bananas (or more strawberries) to mimic the stripes of the flag.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use a homemade sugar cookie crust if preferred.
  • Best served fresh to avoid banana browning.
  • Can substitute whipped topping for cream cheese mixture if desired.
  • Store covered in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
