Description

This Garlic Butter Salmon recipe is a quick and flavorful dish perfect for a weeknight meal. Crispy-skinned salmon fillets are bathed in a luscious garlic butter sauce with hints of lemon and parsley, creating a delightful combination of flavors.

Ingredients

Salmon Fillets:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook the salmon skin-side down until crispy, then flip and cook until nearly done.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Add butter to the pan, stir in garlic, lemon juice, and zest. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Finish and Serve: Spoon garlic butter over the salmon, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon slices.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil before cooking.
  • You can also bake the salmon at 400°F for 12-15 minutes using the same garlic butter mixture.
