Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a flavorful, easy-to-make dish with crispy, golden chicken breasts coated in a rich garlic and Parmesan cheese crust. It’s perfect for weeknight dinners or serving to guests.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying or baking drizzle)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat if pan-frying.
- In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- If baking, place chicken on a greased baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- If pan-frying, heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for faster, even cooking.
- Serve with pasta, salad, or roasted vegetables.
