Description

Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a flavorful, easy-to-make dish with crispy, golden chicken breasts coated in a rich garlic and Parmesan cheese crust. It’s perfect for weeknight dinners or serving to guests.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying or baking drizzle)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat if pan-frying.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. If baking, place chicken on a greased baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  5. If pan-frying, heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for faster, even cooking.
