Description
Grape Jelly Cocktail Meatballs are a classic party appetizer featuring tender meatballs simmered in a sweet and tangy sauce made from grape jelly and chili sauce — simple, crowd-pleasing, and always a hit.
Ingredients
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen fully cooked meatballs (about 50 meatballs)
- 1 cup grape jelly
- 1 cup chili sauce (such as Heinz)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan or slow cooker, combine grape jelly, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder if using. Stir until smooth.
- Add frozen meatballs and stir to coat evenly with the sauce.
- For stovetop: Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are heated through and sauce is thickened.
- For slow cooker: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm with toothpicks for easy party snacking.
Notes
- Make ahead and reheat in the slow cooker or microwave.
- Use homemade meatballs if preferred, just cook them fully before adding to sauce.
- Try swapping grape jelly for cranberry sauce or apricot preserves for a twist.
