- 2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice

- Club soda or sparkling water, to top

- Salt or sugar, for rimming (optional)
- Grapefruit wedge or lime slice, for garnish
Instructions
- Optional: Rim a glass with salt or sugar by rubbing the edge with lime and dipping it into the salt or sugar.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- In a shaker or directly in the glass, combine tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and simple syrup (if using). Stir or shake well.
- Top with club soda or sparkling water and stir gently.
- Garnish with a grapefruit wedge or lime slice. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use pink or ruby red grapefruit juice for a sweeter flavor and vibrant color.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to taste.
- For a spicy twist, add a few slices of jalapeño or use a chili-salt rim.
