This Green Smoothie, also known as the Green Monster, is a nutritious and refreshing drink packed with leafy greens and tropical fruits. It’s a perfect way to kickstart your day or boost your energy levels.

- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup fresh spinach (packed)
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon nut butter (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseed (optional)
- ice cubes (optional for thickness)
Instructions
- Add the Ingredients: Add the banana, spinach, pineapple, mango, almond milk, and any optional ingredients to a blender.
- Blend: Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
- Add Ice (Optional): Add a few ice cubes and blend again if a colder, thicker smoothie is desired.
- Adjust and Serve: Taste and adjust with more milk or fruit as needed. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
- To boost protein, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
- You can also swap spinach for kale or other leafy greens.
