Description

These Ham and Cheese Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls are perfect for parties, game days, or a quick family dinner. They are baked until warm and melty with a buttery glaze on top.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 12 slices of deli ham
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese, halved
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  3. Layer the ham slices evenly over the rolls, followed by the Swiss cheese.
  4. Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds (if using).
  6. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the sliders, allowing it to soak into the rolls.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute Swiss cheese with provolone or cheddar if preferred.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and stored in the fridge before baking.
  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the butter mixture.
