Description

Rich and fudgy brownies loaded with chunks of Oreo cookies and swirls of sweet cream cheese, creating a decadent dessert perfect for any Oreo lover.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 12 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar (for cream cheese mixture)
  • 1 egg yolk (for cream cheese mixture)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for cream cheese mixture)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and 1 cup sugar until well combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined. Fold in chopped Oreos, reserving a few for topping.
  4. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, egg yolk, and 1/2 tsp vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  6. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and use a knife to swirl it in.
  7. Sprinkle reserved Oreo pieces on top.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake and let them set while cooling.
  • You can refrigerate the brownies for a firmer texture and easier slicing.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
