Description

A delicious and easy maple mustard salmon recipe with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors, baked to flaky perfection.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down.
  4. Brush the maple mustard glaze evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a deeper flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking.
  • This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad.
  • You can substitute honey for maple syrup if desired.
