Description

One-Pan Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken with Egg Noodles is a comforting and hearty dish featuring tender chicken in a rich garlic butter cream sauce, all tossed with egg noodles for an easy, satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat, melt butter with olive oil.
  2. Add chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add egg noodles and cook uncovered for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes to heat through. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to cut down on cook time.
  • Adjust sauce thickness with a splash of broth or cream as needed.
  • Add spinach or peas for extra vegetables and color.
