Description

Patriotic Mini Cheesecakes are festive bite-sized desserts with a graham cracker crust and creamy cheesecake filling, topped with red, white, and blue colors to celebrate the 4th of July in style.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Red and blue gel food coloring
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 3 tbsp sugar, and melted butter. Mix well and press 1–2 tablespoons into the bottom of each liner. Bake for 5 minutes, then set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar and mix until fully combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Divide the cheesecake batter evenly into three bowls. Tint one bowl red, one blue, and leave the third plain.
  6. Spoon a layer of red batter into each liner, then the white, then blue, gently smoothing layers.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until centers are set. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  8. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring for vibrant layers without thinning the batter.
  • Chill overnight for best texture and flavor.
  • Can be frozen (without toppings) and thawed before serving.
  • Use a small offset spatula or spoon for even layering.
