Description
Patriotic Mini Cheesecakes are festive bite-sized desserts with a graham cracker crust and creamy cheesecake filling, topped with red, white, and blue colors to celebrate the 4th of July in style.
Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Red and blue gel food coloring
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 3 tbsp sugar, and melted butter. Mix well and press 1–2 tablespoons into the bottom of each liner. Bake for 5 minutes, then set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar and mix until fully combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Divide the cheesecake batter evenly into three bowls. Tint one bowl red, one blue, and leave the third plain.
- Spoon a layer of red batter into each liner, then the white, then blue, gently smoothing layers.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until centers are set. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkles before serving, if desired.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring for vibrant layers without thinning the batter.
- Chill overnight for best texture and flavor.
- Can be frozen (without toppings) and thawed before serving.
- Use a small offset spatula or spoon for even layering.
