Description

Pineapple Salsa is a fresh, sweet, and tangy condiment made with juicy pineapple, colorful vegetables, and a touch of lime. Perfect as a topping for grilled meats, tacos, or served with tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, finely diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  2. Drizzle with fresh lime juice and add salt to taste.
  3. Toss gently to mix all ingredients well.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled as a dip or topping for tacos, grilled chicken, or fish.

Notes

  • Use ripe, fresh pineapple for best flavor and texture.
  • Adjust jalapeño to control the spice level.
  • Great made ahead—flavors improve after a few hours in the fridge.
