Red, White and Blue Dirt Cups are a fun and festive no-bake dessert layered with crushed cookies, creamy pudding, and patriotic-colored whipped topping. Perfect for 4th of July celebrations, they’re easy to make and great for kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 cup crushed golden Oreos
- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
- Patriotic sprinkles or gummy candies (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
- Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and smooth.
- Divide the pudding mixture evenly into three bowls. Tint one bowl red and one blue with food coloring. Leave the third bowl white.
- In clear cups or jars, layer blue pudding, then crushed cookies, then white pudding, more crushed cookies, then red pudding.
- Top with remaining crushed cookies and decorate with sprinkles or patriotic gummy candies if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
