  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

Slaw

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage (green or red)
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Serving

  • 4 burger buns
  • Sliced avocado or tomato (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Salmon Burgers: In a bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, mayo, Dijon, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties and chill for 15 minutes.
  2. Make Slaw: Mix cabbage, carrots, mayo, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Cook Salmon Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Assemble Burgers: Place salmon patties on buns, top with slaw, and optional avocado or tomato slices. Serve immediately.

Notes
